After the article about the Roade to the Knockouts cards, today we want to touch on something else. FUT Icons are very rare and therefore hardly pulled in FIFA packs. In the „Squad Building Challenges“ they are always available as a reward, but the completion of the challenges is very tedious and expensive (FIFA Points). After we already had an article about the different kinds of FUT Icons, we want to show you why icon cards are so special and popular.
The special Icon cards
If you have drawn a special Icon, most play it or sell it directly if it is worth something. The Icon cards have the speciality to get a yellow link to every player. And if you have the same nationality as the icon you get a green link. At the moment there are 104 different icons in FIFA 22. All of these 104 cards have three different shapes. Which are known among most gamers as Baby Icone medium Icone or also big Icon. Most icon cards have certain characteristics, either a very high overall rating or even 5 star skill or weak foot.
All of these cards were very special soccer players. Which will no longer exist in this way, but FIFA gave them these special cards. If you have ever played with an icon card, you know how it feels to play such special footballers. Most of the Iconen cards can be played well and easily. There will surely be Icons Packs or SBC you can make in the course of time.
Legendary players like Maradona, Pelé, Ronaldinho, Cruyff, Cantona, Cafu we could go on all day because all the players on the list are legends. We also have a couple of legends in mind who should get an the icon card. However, we are happy that FIFA gives us such an opportunity to play with such special footballers.
