For a good cause – Warzone for the German Muscle Society!

On May 19, 18 professional soccer players and 18 professional gamers gave their best effort to win in the Battle Royale Call of Duty: Warzone. We, e-Arenaa together with Sc Paderborn pro Luca Marseiler organized a Warzone tournament for a good cause. The teams were drawn on May 12 and always consisted of one gamer & one soccer player. For the good cause we chose a special organization. Luca Marseiler has a high level of trust in the German Society for Muscle Sufferers, due to acquaintances who are supported by the society. We are sure that the amount will be used in the best possible way.

The German Muscular Dystrophy Society is the largest self-help organization for people with neuromuscular diseases in Germany. Doctors & parents of affected children founded the association in 1965. The goal is to research the causes of muscle diseases and to develop therapies. Today, the most important concern of our organization is to support affected people and their relatives in their everyday life with a muscle disease.

The event was streamed and followed on e-Arenaa’s Twitch channel. There was a constant call for donations, and soccer jerseys were also raffled off. Through the numerous donations of all spectators, gamers & footballers, we were able to collect a total amount of 8.000,00€. We are very pleased that we had members of the German Society for Muscular Diseases e.V. on 12.07.2021 as guests & they have received the amount. Soon, the next Warzone event for a good cause will take place. Stay tuned!
