Every year, just before a new FIFA game is released, fans start speculating about theories surrounding the release. It’s mainly about what will be changed, added and taken out. Especially the FIFA22 Icons are in focus.
The FUT Icons are, as the name suggests, icons from the world of soccer. The players include legendary players who have since hung up their careers as active professionals. However, in FIFA Ultimate Team mode, these players return to the field. The cards have very high stats and are especially good in the game. However, they are very rare and hard to get. For each player, unlike the other cards, there are 3 different versions. Each of these versions represents a period in the player’s career and differ by different stats, positions and images.
In FIFA 21, EA released the largest number of ICONs to date, with over 100 to choose from. David Beckham was surprisingly added very late with a winter upgrade. Here are the FIFA21 Icons:
Now all eyes are on the next set of special cards yet to be revealed, with some leaks suggesting Cafu and Di Natale will be included. As the release date of FIFA 22 is getting closer, we take a look at all the leaked and rumoured FIFA22 Icons so far. As discovered by FIFA Ultimate Team leaker KingLangpard, FIFA Online received a new update in which new ICON names were added.
