The special cards of the new event „Numbers Up“ are available in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team since November 12, 2021, at 19:00. „Numbers Up“ is the Adidas event in FIFA 22 that was announced a few weeks ago. The motto of the new Numbers Up Event is „Don’t Stop Til You’re 99“ – and according to this principle, the new special cards work.
How do the new Numbers Up cards work
A total of 11 players who are Adidas ambassadors will receive new special cards, which are supposed to receive regular upgrades of a single stat over the course of the FUT season. The end is when this stat reaches 99. The upgrades are based on what shoes the players wear in the game. There are 3 different shoes that boost 3 different stats. The X-shoe boost for speed. PREDATOR shoe boost for ball security/dribbling and the COPA shoe – boost for passing value. The other Stat is also expected to get an upgrade. There will still be a total of three updates over the next few months for the Numbers Up cards.
The Team
With an overall strength of 91, FC Barcelona’s Ter Stegen is the strongest card in the Numbers Up event. Joao Felix of Atlético Madrid has an overall strength of 88 and has received a speed boost. Diogo Jota of Liverpool FC has a total strength of 86 and has also received a speed boost. Rice from West Ham United has an overall strength of 87 and has received a passing boost. Hummels of Borussia Dortmund has an overall strength of 88 and has gotten a pass boost. Reyna also of Borussia Dortmund has an overall strength of 85 and has received a speed boost. Neuhaus from Borussia Mönchen Gladbach has an overall strength of 84 and has received a dribbling boost. Miltao of Real Madrid has an overall strength of 85 and has received a dribbling boost.
Reguilon of Tottenham Hotspur and Dembélé of Lyon both have an overall strength of 84 and have each received a speed boost. Diawara of AC Roma has an overall strength of 84 and has received a passing boost. Marco Asensio from Real Madrid can be made SBC, with an overall strength of 85 and a dribbling boost he could also strengthen your team. Bergwijn from Tottenham Hotspur has a total strength of 84 and a speed boost you can unlock him via the weekly tasks.
All in all, we find the new Numbers Up Event in FIFA 22 Fut Ultimate Team quite good and special. But we think it’s a disadvantage that the players can only get certain updates in certain times.
