Warzone Payload brings new action to Call of Duty.

For the mid-season update in Call Of Duty Warzone, the creator has developed a new mode. Warzone Payload is one of the many novelties in the game, in which two large teams of 20 fight each other. The mode requires teamwork and skill. What we can tell for sure, is that it will bring a lot of fun!

The Warzone-Payload System

Warzone Payload is about two different teams with 20 players per team. One team has to escort two trucks, while the other team has to prevent this. The main purpose is to reach the checkpoints while driving through a small part of Verdansk. Both teams are allowed to choose their own setup at the beginning, which they have already worked on before. You also have the chance to change your loadout during the game, every time you respawn.

The team escorting the trucks in Warzone Payload has to make sure that they are close to the truck, so that the vehicles move, and you reach the checkpoints within a certain time. There is a gun on each of the two lead vehicles with which you can finish off the enemies. And it is clear that if you are killed yourself, you will be revived immediately on both sides.

The other team has to stop the convoy by killing the enemies and making sure that the trucks don’t reach the checkpoints. The defending team is helped by roadblocks that can be set up or guns. And both teams can buy various items from the shop, such as cluster strikes or precision aircraft. Of course, the sides are swapped after a round so that everyone defends once and escorts once.

All in all, the new Warzone Payload mode is a change from the usual game mode, in which team play counts more than ever. Whether the new mode will establish itself forever, we will see with time. But one thing is clear: Payload is a mode of its own and should be tried at least once as a Call of Duty fan.
